Nov 2016 Jebsen & Jessen (SEA)’s success as an industrial conglomerate and strong family-owned business has earned it the Singapore 2016 EY-Barclays Family Business Award of Excellence at the EY Entrepreneur of The Year Awards.
The annual Family Business Award is conferred to outstanding business families that successfully balance the interest of family and business, and who have grown their companies while contributing back to society through philanthropic and social engagements.
Representing the Group at the Awards Gala that was held on October 21, 2016, Chairman Heinrich Jessen said: “Receiving this prestigious award is a great honour for us and motivates us to continue the family enterprise approach established and followed by the previous generations: ensuring that a growth-oriented entrepreneurial spirit is allowed to thrive while concurrently maintaining sound, conservative financial discipline and independence from any single industry, geography or business relationship.”
